Maybe the man in your life is tired of smelling like a bouquet of roses.  Maybe the man in your life is uncomfortable with those Snuggle bear laundry soap commercials.  Maybe the man in your life is secretly gay and so protective of his masculinity that he can't bear to use any product that might be deemed feminine.
